“ Quaint lil BBQ pub in Dixon. Great parking. Our server Gabby was spot on during our entire visit and gave us some wonderful food and drink recommendations as we stopped in from Georgia. The upside down pineapple martini was very tasty. We started with the brisket chili which was delicious but bet it would have tasted even better if it had come out hot and not room temperature. We split the baby boo yah fried potato salad with added blue cheese and the brisket sandwich with subbed crinkle fries. The potato salad was a table hit with most. The brisket was tender and moist and wanted to eat all of it even tho tummy was saying full, please stop . Would definitely come back! And we would request burnt ends be ready an hour earlier for our next trip ”

“ Delicious food, freshly smoked meats. C2B2 always one of the go-to's. Chicken tenders are amazing. Disco fries, brisket nachos, or cheese curds for a starter!! Daily specials all week, Irish Egg Rolls on Tuesdays are soo good too! Rarely they have it, but the pasta salad with roasted carrots is to die for as well. ”

“ My first time trying them and it wasn't too bad. I was there on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. It is designed to be more of a bar than a restaurant. There aren't many tables and it wasn't busy. The bar is big and takes up half of the floor space inside. Service was very friendly. I had wings, some with hot bbq which was delicious, and some with what they call "booyah" sauce which was not very good. But the wings were cooked absolutely perfectly! I also had coleslaw and beans on the side, both of which were average. For being a smoked place, I expected much more flavor in the beans, like smoke, but they weren't. I also tried their special Bloody Mary with a meaty garnish which was just barely okay and not worth the $14.95 I was charged for it. The only good part of it was the one piece of brisket & one shrimp on top of it. ”

“ Sooooo good. It looks like a dive on the outside, but it's got great ambiance fun vibes. The staff is very friendly. They offer great suggestions. We were driving through on a road trip and will be stopping here on our way home!!! Seriously, so good. We had the wings (5 in sweet bbq and 5 in their boo-yah sauce). We ate them too fast to get a before picture. I had the Reuben and my husband the Brisket Dip with a side of their in-house horseradish. ”

“ I've been wanting to try this place for weeks, and finally got the chance to try it with my wife on Friday - they are open for lunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and the place was slammed on Friday. Almost every table filled, a large group of 10 or 12 people at a combined table - this place was HOPPING. Service was crisp - we had several people serving us at the same time to get drink orders and food orders sorted. We both ordered soft drinks, and their pulled pork sandwich. There was a nice sized bottle of the house barbeque sauce at the table, as well as salt and pepper and extra napkins (essential when eating barbeque!) The sandwiches came out in around 10 minutes and were served with house made chips which were pretty good. The pulled pork itself was not sauced, so I used the bottle at the table and sauced it to my liking, as did my wife. Looking around the room, I saw at least 6 large screen TVs tuned to various sporting events, as well as a Slot Machine row which wasn't doing much business. They do have a good selection of on tap beer at the bar, as well as non-on tap stuff, and a full bar. It was a bit warm, but not uncomfortable. The bathroom was dated, but it worked properly and didn't smell bad. The only thing that surprises me is why they aren't open for lunch more than Friday, Saturday and Sunday. But that's a management decision. Given the crowd, this place is appreciated by the locals. Maybe you should try it too? ”
